Today Indian political system is witnessing the unexpected ups and down. Congress is undoubtly proving itself a leader by overruling all the valid allegations, so called framed against them. Congress is playing good cop and bad cop drama to divert the attention of common man from the core issues like inflation, poverty, unemployment and the corruption in all aspects of life. Whenever an issue is raised against ruling congress party on its credibility, Congress first starts playing blame game to bring opposition on back foot and then one or two member in congress party starts playing role of opposition party and the main opposition party instead of raising the issue starts defending and clearing there own stand on the issue, finally as time passes the issue looses its shine and some other event or news are created by Congress to divert the attention of media and the common man from the focal point. Congress is good at counting on short memory of common man. Political party is trying to aggravate the issue raised by Mr. Anna hazare and this is expected from them, there is nothing new in it.
Moving to the history which witnessed strong retaliation from the political party whenever a face of common man tried to raise the voice against the working of political parties. The political heat faced by Anna hazare is quite negligible compared to Jai Prakash Narayan, Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose and many other leaders in past. But, what if media is not giving it a due respect. One of the political leaders is quite worried about the sources of fund raised and used in this common people movement. Let me tell you we as a translation agency did the translation work free of cost in all most every language spoken in India, the contents/agenda of Lok pal bill was translated and distributed by LinguaIndia as a social responsibility to giving back to the society. Anna being a common man need not to answer the questions raised by one or two political leaders trying to score there points on this sensitive issue. He haven’t taken a chartered plane to Delhi and not stayed in the luxury five star hotels which are known as residence of most of our political leaders. All political party is trying to nullify the role of Anna by comparing him to big figures like Mahatma Gandhi and jai Prakash Narayan. He can not be like them but I personally believe he can be better than them, as he raised such an important issue and finally succeeded in mobilizing the mob which is totally unexpected and took almost four decades after Jai Prakash Narayan movement.
To cut the whole story short few people are trying to suppress the agitation and anger of common people by defaming a person like Mr. Anna Hazare who came forward with an agenda which will help in tightening the noose on government and bureaucrats both. I fear that the agenda should not get at the back sheet and the war of word should take the pilot sheet. In present scenario where people are becoming robot and they don’t have time to think beyond there livelihood, a person comes forward and fights for the cause of masses and gets the job done is really a great achievement. In a country where everyone in political party is quite concerned about the common mans cause and the common man is striving to feed there family is not an irony of fate but the well planned strategy of government to keep them involved in earning there livelihood, so that they can not raise any question over working and functioning of the government.
